 The VTX1800 1795cc Liquid-Cooled 52° V-twin Engine Unique offset dual-crankpin crankshaft design helps VTX engine produce peak horsepower at 5000 rpm and peak torque at 3500 rpm while minimizing vibration and allowing for a smooth-running engine. Programmed Fuel Injection (PGM-FI) ensures optimal fuel delivery utilizing sensors for intake-port pressure, engine-coolant temperature, intake-air temperature and atmospheric pressure.

Linked Braking System (LBS) Secondary master cylinder and a three-stage control valve govern the three-piston calipers of both the dual-front and single-rear brake discs to deliver proportional braking power. Special delay valve minimizes front-end dive.
